in Lansing the other day, I saw on the internet. I've been reduced to those three words in my mind a lot lately. But I'm willing to compromise: if they let us stop making and selling war, I'd consider, what with all the profits they'd lose there, a hiatus or peace dividend for converting that industry. The Plowshare Provision.
One of the many Wisconsin chants I was happy to see rolled out: the classic We are the union, the mighty, mighty union.

Since I don't have the encouraging words, lemme give these, from Reich's reminder this morning to stay nonviolent in resistance:
Know that we are a nation of laws, and those laws will prevail. The People’s Party is growing across America — and the actions of Scott Walker and his Republican colleagues are giving it even greater momentum. So are the actions of congressional Republicans who are using the threat of a government shutdown to strong-arm their way in Washington.
