i always seem to be sleeping in tits, technically (the term doesn't seem quite right for the gazongas in question), but not likely in slacks. :]

David Letterman's production company is called, I believe, Worldwide Pants, suggesting he finds something inherently humorous in the word.

Pantaloons are sorta funny, themselves, but the word isn't such a giggle, to me. Especially considering the headstart it has by virtue of containing an "oo".
