Now, why don't you pop over here for an evening of moping someplace different. I'm lonely and bored and have a house full of odd things to do.

That's a lovely invite, P. I'd say yes in a flash, but, in addition to being lonesome meself, I'm totally zonked. Did yard work a bunch this weekend and stuff & wouldn't want to be this way next time I see ya anyway. (It'd be a foisting, undeniably.)

Soon, though. Fer sure.

Hope it passes soon.

Wallow only as necessary.

TY, E. Trying to be in it as necessary but poised to rise as soon as it legitimately passes. If it ever freakin' does, good 'n' solid for a while.

I do like that hug icon. Origin?

It will. These things tend to, eventually.

It's from Wapsi Square, a web comic. here, in particular.

::nods:: It's a good one, though. Long web comic archives are sort of great and awful at the same time. It's good reading while it lasts, if nothing else. :^)

Hypoallergenic bear hug, if I may be so bold.

Magnetic Fields usage notes:

Holiday: excellent light wallow material, with an option for dancing your way out of it. Also applies to first 6ths and first Future Bible Heroes releases.

Get Lost: moderate wallow with nice light finish ("The Dreaming Moon"). As usual, beware of the ukulele in vulnerable moments.

The Wayward Bus, Charm of the Highway Strip : seductively heavy wallow undertow with wicked black-hole singularities located at "Railroad Boy", "Josephine/100,000 Fireflies", and "Long Vermont Roads".

69 Love Songs: Go ahead, self-medicate at preferred dosage with your own edit version in iTunes, but watch out for "Asleep and Dreaming," especially if there are candles going in the living room.

In any case, feel better when you're up for it. You rock.

It so happens I have just learned of these Magnetic Fields of which you speak. I am such a dork I have the library's copy of 69 Love Songs. At home, though.

Future Bible Heroes, huh. Good band name, anyway.

Future Bible Heroes, huh. Good band name, anyway.

FBH: Memories of Love: yummy stuff, in an electro kinda way but without all that Fischerspooner self-conscious metapomo archnesse. Still, to extract the lyrics from the booklet you have to solve a bunch of Highlights For Children stylee word puzzles, so it fulfills the willful obscurity requirement. No cryptospirituality involved, the name notwithstanding.

Kiss your librarian for me for having 69LS on hand, but let 'em know that it doesn't always mix well with MAO inhibitors.

I had the first Future Bible Heroes release, but sold it on half dot com-- not til after I burned it, of course. I was at WMUC-FM subbing last night and I happened to play something off a subsequent FBH release that I think you'd like-- the song was called "I'm Lonely (and I love it)" or something like that.

A little Merritt (or his side projects) goes a long way, in my opinion. He's best mixed with other things.

Well, I like what I heard of it (the Lonely song).

You gonna be around this weekend? I've been getting home past your bedtime this week & haven't had the right moment to call you back.

well, i for a fact like that you're here in A2.....funny how
life pulls your friends in different directions, sending them
far away, and the ones you don't want around stay here.

enjoy filling your blue circle sparkle book - may you find some
peace in the projects....

ty, j-lz. i like that you're here, too. and i certainly hope you're not referring to yourself in some crazy j-lz-put-down-of-self way with "the ones you don't want around."

so is or isn't the buddha fulla shit? this i ask you.

buddha is out of whack with reality - fershur....
