Where is the snow?

Today, while some in my extended social/lj circle are experiencing a pending loss of a most sad and serious sort, I feel a little bad going on about life, particularly in noting how disappointed I anticipate feeling if we don't get some serious snow today---or at least more than the 2 inches or so, at most, that we seem to get at a time this overdue winter. It's halfway through February, fer cryin' out loud. Signs of Spring may start popping up in just weeks. It's pitchers-and-catchers already, and we haven't been good 'n' buried decently once.

New copy ed started today.

Looks as if a little wind's a-comin' up, anyway. Criminey. About time.
