Dear upsidedownblue:

When, in the course of human events, one has really good potato salad, one often seeks out how one might have such good potato salad again. Now is such a time for me and some of my countrypeople. Now is the time for us to ask: how did he make that potato salad?

You may say that your grandfather's special family/deli recipe is a secret. You may, but please don't. Please say what that recipe is. It's only a click and a little typing away, and you'll be a hero to me, I ain't puttin' ya on son.

I'm unemployed, and have been unemployed for the last two years. I'm also broke, other than enough money in my two credit union accounts to keep my tiny insurance policies paid for a year or so. I have student loan payments coming due in August. So, as you can imagine, I'm not going anywhere for quite some time. I'd love to get out of here, I haven't had a real vacation in seven years.

The only thing I remember not liking is that it seems there's an especially pronounced gap between the rich and the non-rich there. (Is that true?)
