Oooh, it was good stuff. They approached her for suggestions for the name of a new car they were going to be coming out with. The letters back and forth are grand. Very formal. And she comes up with some of the whackiest names.

I won't spoil the punchline of the tale by telling you what the car ends up being called, but I'll tell you this: that, too, is funny. The letters are definitely worth a read. They're collected in The Marianne Moore Reader, which I bet you've got in that library there at Wms. I think there may have been an separate volume of them published once, too.
