I'm such a wimp from down south at this time of year. So far I'm not full of the dread of the length of it. It's possible I'll accept that this is how it is here, now and for the next long while, without feeling sad that so much of the time it is, and/or that it'll be so long until it's short sleeves outside again.

Euchre night tonight. I didn't come in dead last, quite, this time. Next-to-dead-last. Funny how some games I can learn pretty well, and others I don't ever seem to get a feel for. The trick-taking card genre is a particular weakness of mine. It's like the way there are people and personalities in it blocks me from perceiving the ways the cards work. Cuz, you know, frankly, how hard can it be? It's got its confusing rules, but it's just not that complicated, and everybody and his brother seems to be able to pick it up. A whole lot better than I do.

This time Tracy came, and then summoned her sister when we had 4x - 1 people, where x is an integer greater than or equal to 1. (It was 2, specifically.) Sis showed up, and we were on, and it was a good time.

I just checked out my boob bite again. It doesn't look so good. Maybe I'll end up taking it in somewhere tomorrow. I'd so just as soon not, you know? Hell, it's cold out. I'd also so just as soon not get gas, which I need, until it's 45 degrees out, at least. But, as Mick and Keith tried first but somehow decided to keep tweaking, you can't always not get what you'd so just as soon not.

Brrrr.

I've never gotten Euchre or any trick games. I tend to be more of a board game person, anyway.

I like winter in December. I accept it in January. I get tired of it in February, and I get damned sick of it in March. March is supposed to be Spring, consarn it. As they say, March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lion.
