I think a book of poetry with a few recipies would be a great mix. But every recipie should start, "Start With an Onion". Alos, "Start With an Onion" is a title that would make me want to read whatever it was; a poem, a novel, a mystery (especially a mystery), anything!

I once saw a guy buy from another guy, for $1, the title "The Metaphysics of Departure."

Just about every recipe I make starts with an onion. And ends with, after my mother, "Enjoy!" (I'm not so good on the follow-through with that last part sometimes, but at least I know that's what's to be aimed for.)
