In Praise of the Bathtub

pijeanf's Martin Luther King, Jr. Day CD on shuffle with the Michelle Shocked/Fianchna O'Braonain's Artists Make Lousy Slaves, and got on in.
It's easy to see how religious experiences can be associated with being immersed, covered over in soft, thick water, head poking up & waterfalls running down the hair: the smell, the feel, the taste.
