Yesterday, after knocking myself out with physical labor toward prepping the cottage and surrounding patch of the planet for winter, I realized I was looking forward to spending a whole day sitting at a desk. And so far, so good. I say this after only 1 cup of coffee, too.

There's good news from Canada, if you support the concept that a person buying an airline ticket is buying passage on an airplane, vs. the right to take up only a certain amount of space. I do.

I agree with Canada about lots of stuff. I wonder if it's gotten over that thing about stopping smutty books at the border. Hmm.... Wikipedia on censorship in Canada.

You know, when I worked part-time at the U and part-time doing gardening work for clients, I really welcomed sitting at a desk as a break. Now that desk work is all I do, well, it's not so welcome! :(
