i resent you, my heart. why do you do this to me. what are you thinking? you're not, that's what. isn't it.

i'm glad you're alive & all. but really. it's just ridiculous. and sad! sometimes i just have to laugh at you.

Animation, unless you are actually *playing* basketball.

i pumped up the b-ball in my car the other day. it was making a lovely pinging bounce sound on the pavement outside the Petco before i put it back in the car and went back to being a grown-up.

Ah, that's right, physical play is childish, but self-toruring physical exercise is mature.

Humans. Who can figure. They have the opportunity to watch cartoons or to play, and you end up watching other people play because they are the playing professionals, and have learned how to take the fun out of playing with a ball.

Why you could even chose to play music tomorrow if you wanted to. And I mean play, not perform.

Hey--where was the forsythia photo taken?? Mine aren't near to yellow yet, though the branches I forced inside in a vase are.

heya, [livejournal.com profile] trollhagen. they're images swiped off the internet. could well be from previous seasons.

i was reading about forcing forsythia, inside. how people like to get one more bloom that way before winter.

good to know somebody's got a bush up here somewhere!

heh heh heh!

i don't know whether to leer at the entendre or shudder at the thought of trying to propagate and spread forsythia--it's like an invasive species here. for all i know it could be one.

i remember going with my mom in Ohio, of course) to this woman down thte street to get a few slips of forsythia one spring. Now they're humaongous barriers in my parents' front yard. or at least they were, last time i was there. i haven't been there in too long. i'm thinking i need to go there this summer. not sure when yet.
