I love the puppy!

Long-snouted dogs always look extra goofy to me after all my time with Cora Smooshyface...

i often find that my own dog is what seems "normal" in terms of size, snout shape and length, etc. when i had a 75-lb lab with an ex partner, he seemed normal. then when we split up and i got a 35-lb dog, she seemed normal and he seemed huge when i saw him on visits. now, both by 140-lb and 35-lb dogs seem normal, and sometimes the larger one even looks small and vulnerable to me. maybe having two vastly different dogs helps me "see" all dogs differently now? dunno.

Don't he? I love the twinkle in his eye there. I sent the picture from my phone to his & he wrote back "Ooh handsome!"

He had good words about/for you. Hey, here's something else we were talking about: that quickie to NYC with you & me was his first trip there, and now buildings there are one of his favorite photographic subjects. Well, textures of 'em, and light on and between and around 'em, and patterns of 'em, and how all them things intersect.

Two of the ones from the Va Tech show are up in larger format in some juried thing in Georgia.

well, i've been me from time to time, as my default. this one was up there quite a while, fer inst.

the other question in minds everywhere, of course, is whether you'll post.

there's a photographer dude over in ypsi who used to post pictures, and text posts too. [livejournal.com profile] blackcustard. originally from england. read more here: http://www.mattcallow.com/about.html . hasn't been posting lately, though.

locally he's done, among other things, workshops on pinhole techniques. check out some of his:
