None of them actually appeals to me. And, well, a pen would have to really turn me on to be worth a tenth the cost of the cheapest one to me.

Of course I'm not so much a "Champaign taste on a beer budget" guy as a "soda pop taste on a water budget" person. I prefer free promotional pens and pens accidentally brought home from work.

the first one is the gorgeousest, obviously. it might also be the most expensive because
1) it has some gold on the nib
2) the shell may have some precious something to it, although i can't tell what it is.

i wouldn't be surprised if (b) were the most expensive, although i do declare it to be the ugliest of all.

As much of an office supply groupie as I am, I don't know that I love any of them. I'd probably be most likely to use the third, though I like the second as well. I also cynically suspect that they wouldn't like my left-handed penmanship. I'd guess a-3, b-2, c-1, but with much uncertainty.

They are all so ugly that I can't decide which one is least ugly. I would guess that B is the most expensive and C is the least expensive, but I have approximately zero confidence in that guess.

I like the top one best by a wide margin.
Although, I think my most expensive pen is a $3 Uniball.
