unexpected long long weekend

My office is unexpectedly closed for the rest of the week. Discovery of asbestos during carpet replacement. Very exciting stuff.

I feel seriously tempted to go somewhere.

I'm thinking Canada.

Canada is probably more exciting than the place in the middle of the dirt road where you can stand in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio all at once, even though I have an inexplicable urge to go there.

I remember when some dame selling us our condo saw celulose insulation, but thought it was asbestos, on the day we moved in. They paid us $100 to wander off to see a movie or something for a couple of hours.

You don't even need *real* asbestos for an asbestos holiday!

I just came in from working on the tree that fell in September. With Juli's chainsaw and ax(e), it's pretty much taken care of. Picture to follow!
