The front of that porch would be perpendicular to the street, not parallel, right? I think I may have sat on a rotted version of those steps when I was petting the puppy Goliath in 1995 (sigh).

Right and right! Yeah, time did a number on that porch. The picture's from one the landlady gave us before we moved in --- had it on the change-of-address.
