Check it out: sprig5 just posted some links about my home in the mid-'90s, which had been Gertrude Stein's residence when she moved east as a teenager, after her mother died, to live with an aunt. The place made it into the Wall Street Journal (where it's all about property value).

Sometime I'll find you my Gertie-style poem about living there. It's in some old hard-copy e-mail in some box somewhere.

I think I have it in e-mail off my old Mac. The e-mail printout I could lay hands on last night was the courtship e-mail of me and the ex-. (I didn't read any of it, but I haven't thrown it away. One day, when I'm curious and in the right headspace, maybe...)
