Stopped at the library on my way to the gym, having heard that exit poll leaking should start at 5 p.m. There's not a whole lot on the 'net yet though.

I did just meet Valerie, whom I knew only online from working with her on a project. That was cool. She has quite the fine aura about her, in my perception (scattered though it is on this election evening).

Maybe the gym is just the ticket. I really wish I had cable tonight. Should I check into a motel to watch TV? One that gets Comedy Central, maybe?

EDIT: well I just found this Salon piece on what to watch for, which makes me feel a little better about the early exit poll news on wonkette. AUGH!

I have cable. I'm off to vote myself right now, then maybe to the gym myself. But text me if you're seriosly jonesing for cable.

We are still using paper ballots in my township. I wish they would make them easier to understand and faster to get done if you already know pretty much what you want to vote.
Then they get sucked into the Diebold box, and what happens after that is anybodys guess...

If I vote strait ticket but don't vote for any of the judges, does my vote get thrown out?
