Maybe you could send some over here to cool us down. It's 106 degrees here again today. I guess it's better than the 110 degrees it was before, but I'm really ready for the temperature to go back to levels that do not induce rapid onset of death.

yeah, too bad i can't lasso it and haul it your way, via CA for queerbychoice... i have been thinking it's quite kind of mamma N to water my tomatoes so thoroughly.

it really was glorious rain. i got moderately soaked by it the first time i went out, pretty doggoned soaked the second, and thoroughly soaked as i walked to my car at the end of the day yesterday.

it was absolutely delicious.
