Date: Jun. 21st, 2025 04:06 pm (UTC)I guess it's less weird in that it was part of the evolution of a pier that had a big building with a dance hall on it when it was built--- the Million Dollar Pier:
Then it had a haunted house and other buildings. Then eventually this big building that seems like it should be on land, except *maybe* once you realize it's supposed to look like a ship. Still, without a view outside, what's the point in it being on a pier?
