I find I can't bring myself yet to use my "roadside Americana" icon for this post.  And if this gift place were in trumpier territory, I wouldn't be posting it, today, anyway.

This is funny, I suppose, given that I'm doing better than I mighta thought I would about remembering that the most adamant triump voters who are still regular people (not the conniving controlling wealthy and powerful) are my fellow humans, and even letting myself feel my irritation at how so many anti-trumpers get so smug and superior and othering and condescending about regular-people trumpers.  As if they don't have a legit point of view, or their decisions are only and entirely idiocy and the result of uncivil social practices and attitudes on top of manipulation by the powerful.  And as if the smug superiority of democrats is just bonding and comfort, not a problem.

Too much thinking here, though.  As always.  A thinking problem.

Soon enough I hope I'll be able to enjoy some white trumper-type cultural associations for what they are, with all my lenses on 'em, and some of the seeping distaste no longer ruining them for me.  Or me letting them ruin them for me.  I dunno.  Cuz otoh the separatist impulse can be powerful, weird tho it may be that what I want to separate from is inseparable, and of the people I come from, in many ways.

I'm gonna think.  Just also wanna do, and feel, and be, and in that interest and in those modes do some curtailing of thinking, and letting go of thinking, and doing without thinking, and, like, not so much thinking.
