I venture to say I never use "queer" in any cursing sense. And "sex"? C'mon... But I'm sure I'm not the first to question the list of words this thing looks for.

Wonder if I meant "screw" as in the Allen-wrench-needing set screw in the kitchen faucet whose seats & O-rings I fixed. O-rings sound kind of smutty. You grease 'em up, too.

Makes it sound like I'm Bukowski, but after doing some quick "Find" searches on my journal, "semen" is apparently taken from the word endorsement, "homo" is actually part of homosexual, "cock" is part of cockatiel, "breast" is a reference to breast cancer, and I can't find any instances of "queer" or "kunt" (though I can only assume that the latter would've been a reference to the Butthole Surfers song "Kuntz"). Shame this thing is so flawed, because it's a fun idea.

I glanced back myself & saw that it didn't count my "mutherfuckin"s, which, George Carlin might suggest, should rank pretty high on the list of verbotens.

'muther*' variations have now been added, but new results might not show up very quickly (sorry, caching is the only way this stays manageable!). as far as improvement goes, i try to keep the list growing and improving, but english is such a naturally flexible language that whenever i expand the range of words, there are always new exceptions.

I'm glad I went back to this thread today. I wondered how some improbable words had gotten into my result--While I do use the word "crap" from time to time, I was certain that I had never mentioned "semen" in any of my posts.
