---but the season's about over. Can't find any of upsidedownblue's pix from the Badlands trip on my hard drive, so my favorite winter desktop image isn't readily available to switch to.

it's like a night of the living dead still: the bushes have you cornered, back up against the wall. but what's that? someone with their last strength pushes a thingamajigger into your hands, and the tide starts to turn. you emerge victorious!!

that, or someone's being naughty under the bushes where they can't be seen. either way, i'm loving the shot. my screensaver is still default blue.
