I just last night watched the penultimate episode of Ted Lasso last night, and it ends with a song from The Wiz---one I usually associate with the gf who introduced me to a few songs from that show, having been introduced to them herself by the gay man she was in more in love with.  Today I have that song in my head, but don't remember all the lyrics.  But I do know I don't have its sense of a place I come from and want to get back to, where there might be love overflowing as a thing I've been knowing, even if I also come from the same specific part of the planet, where there's wind that makes the tall grass bend into leaning, awkwardly put as that bit is.
