Time again for a Message Week here at Postcard of the Day. My payment to LJ is failing, so who knows if (over there) I'll get to keep all my user pix and see it ad-free and have other signed-in LJ-users see it ad-free. I'm doubling here at Dreamwidth, at least.

Today's message is cuz I'm about to have food from a restaurant called Everest brought over. But, look!, the card was sent to Dexter, the next town over, if you're going northwest.

Any idea on the year? Can’t tell from the scan.

Tougher call for me, as "foreign" cards don't have as many hints that I know how to interpret, but my gut is saying 1970s, or 1960s, on this one. Honestly a lot of that's from the ballpoint + the handwriting---its character plus the fact of its being cursive. Dexter's a small enough city that you could still reliably get something delivered to no-number on 2nd St and without a zip code, so if you were abroad and couldn't remember either, you'd be okay.
