ffloHello. I've been using importing to back up my livejournal periodically, but that's been a pretty unreliable service this past year. I hear that crossposting to lj by posting here is also not working too well. So I reckon I'll take a tip from elainegrey and just double-post.
It's pretty weird that I still post at livejournal, I know. Not only is it so dwindled a community---like a mall much sparser than the one I was walking in tonight---but it's got the Russian complications. You now have to pay them in rubles, and you gotta wonder if the price is being inflated like crazy, with the rest of the ruble action this week. I suppose they might break out the censorship on US/nonCyrillic accounts any time. No doubt they're censored to the folks within Russia.
But I dunno. I guess it's a form of perversity, my persisting there. And I'm quick with the coding for a postcard, sized a certain size for the old standard size card and another certain size for the "continental" size that took over 40 or 50 years ago. Plus of course only some folks came over here. And I've just never switched up the habit. Heck, a couple of real-world people who (among the few) look for my postcards there never did have active livejournals of their own.
