delete, delete, delete

Months ago now, I got my new phone in the mail, after a long wait, and this weekend was finally going to be time to fire it up--- I'd gotten my old phone to the newest operating system and gotten a bunch of apps offa it, and decided I'd worry about the picture files later.  Maybe the new phone'd have an easier way to go through and cull from those.  But dang if my Mac didn't have enough room to back up the phone.

Oddly, even after I deleted 2 old back-ups of the phone AND deleted a bunch off stuff on the computer AND on the phone, I was still getting that error.  I just took half the music off the computer, hoping maybe that'll help.  Started it up again.  If it doesn't work this time, that's gonna have to be it for this attempt.

There's still a fair bit of work stuff stored on this machine.  This should probably be my cue to switch over to the work computer.  I just don't like it as much.  And it has only a fraction of the bookmark action I have going here.  Before long, though, if the plan goes as planned, I'll be carrying it back & forth to the office with me.

Hey, maybe I should get a briefcase for that.  You know, not use the messenger bag I got at Sam's (not the Walmart one) years ago.  I assume they still make briefcases.  I've seen the metal ones like ransom money is delivered in on TV for sale in truck stops, and seriously considered buying one just cuzza how fun it'd be to be ready to deliver ransom money like that, should the occasion arise, and should I ever get lots of money.

It's good to clean out old stuff.  But it's tiring.  It really is.  To me.
