It's kind of amazing that these terms will disappear from the language soon. I remember learning Chinese, we learned some words like fax machine and photo developing which are already pretty much antiquated already.

I was just talking to my next new hire on the phone, and trying to come up with the new word for paperwork (which he'll have some to do, just not with actual paper). Do we have one yet? He commented on how the "save" icon still shows that little 2nd-gen floppy disc. Language usually seems to take a while to catch up.

In the same call I referred to a hard-wired telephone at the office as the "snail phone". Got my toiminology messed up there.... LANDLINE, I eventually spat out.
