Well, I do know what flash cubes were, although I don't know that I ever saw blue dot brand. I'm guessing 3s and 8s refers to the number of cubes in the box.

I wonder if some of these are CB rather than hardcore ham radio--the call signs don't seem to match the pattern of W8UNF and KA8GIR. or maybe those were special mobile call signs. Or license plate numbers for CB since they didn't have callsigns?
