I used to live a block from this. The tradition started over a hundred years ago, and it’s still going strong.

I know it's not the finest postcard ever, as an image/card, but there's something appealing about it. And a mile of Christmas trees is a lot of Christmas trees.

I love the postcard, actually. It really shows how the trees have grown since then. The trees are now quite tall, and alas, one or two have died. We had a huge storm in 2012 that took out lots of trees in the area.

There's something charming about this. And, well, those old-fashioned primary color lights that matched the frosting colors on the cookies.
