Looks like a place that the town in Steven Universe was based on.

I haven't seen that show--- had to look it up just now to know what you were talking about.

There's something about the coloring of the B&W image that adds a surreality and strangely lively "pop" to the image.

At first I thought it might be Ocean City, Maryland, as the width of the boardwalk is about right, and the building styles, but it's Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Not far up the coast. Which I somehow only just now realized isn't spelled Rehobeth. Sure is pronounced like -beth, thereabouts.

I hadn't noticed that it was colorized, but now I see it's obvious. Steven Universe takes place in a hypothetical touristy beach town in the state of Delmarva. Steven Universe is a pretty amazing cartoon.

Well that Delmarva part makes sense, since that's the name for the peninsula. Ocean City's in the mar, and Rehoboth's in the Del, so, like, good eye!

I shall look into this cartoon.

I remember before I heard of the Delmarva peninsula, that I thought it odd that Maryland's beard was part of Virginia, the way Michigan has a UP.

It's that's the beard, is the UP a stocking cap? Shriveled beret?

The best I've heard was that the UP was shaped like a shark.
