how old is this postcard that rooms start at $1.50? (without bath!)

It's a linen card, so on that grounds, could be any time from the '30s to the '50s. I'd've guessed the '40s on this one, but Google tells me the hotel (now the Union Square) (did I stay there in '89? maybe!) was known by this name "in the 1950s", so maybe this one's a little later than I thought.
