It took me a minute to figure out that by 1/8" circles, they meant 1/8"-thick disks with the diameter of the hot dogs, and not 1/-inch-diameter circles.

The internet suggests cutting hot dogs in spirals, to get more surface area to have crisped up on the grill(e). It also shows how to make an octopus out of a hot dog.

This postcard recipe was a change-of-address card from me & my ex when we moved to Georgia for the better part of a year. It's taken from the paperback The Hot Dog Cookbook (which I still have) (for novelty purposes only).
