Memín Pinguín stamps

Came across the controversy surrounding these stamps commemorating Memín Pinguín, a Mexican cartoon character of Charlie Brown proportion, relatively culturally, in this piece, "Even Comics Cannot Escape American Moralizing," from Columbia's El Tiempo, and then this piece from Mexico's El Universal, via WatchingAmerica.com, a groovy site that rounds up news about the U.S. from non-U.S. sources.

I look forward to hearing from you! Glad you've made it and are internetally reconnected, more or less.

Our little corner of the office was really lonely the last half of the week. I buried myself in work & knocked out more galleys than I have in a long time.

R loved your phone message, btw---I later called back when she wasn't home to leave it on her machine for playback later, should she be feeling low some time.
