Last night I remained oblivious to the All-Star Game. Seems Miguel Tejada was the hero---that's nice. There was a good piece on him in USA Today, of all things, on a day I was waiting for a bagel.

Go AL! The upstart, yet more sentimental, natural grassy league, with a heart for the old guys. Its biggest flaw: (of course) the Yankees.

If you are a Yankee fan, please don't tell me.

We miss you, too, man. You (we) can just feel how you (you) aren't coming back to that (your) desk, so there's no happy pretending you (you) are just out with pneumonia or the croup or shingles or some such...

I just did the cart with your last galleys in it, oh so wistfully. I guess they're gonna make me take down the medicine balls soon.

Well, hell. If I don't talk (write) with you (you) beforehand, drive carefully, etc. I look forward to your report of codomestication and the blisses thereof about which you can tell the masses!
