Last night I remained oblivious to the All-Star Game. Seems Miguel Tejada was the hero---that's nice. There was a good piece on him in USA Today, of all things, on a day I was waiting for a bagel.

Go AL! The upstart, yet more sentimental, natural grassy league, with a heart for the old guys. Its biggest flaw: (of course) the Yankees.

If you are a Yankee fan, please don't tell me.

That reminds me of a great line from Television Without Pity, regarding a challenge showdown between Rob Mariano and Ethan Zohn on Survivor: "Watching them face off is a lot like watching the Yankees play the Florida Marlins. I'm disappointed that someone has to win, but I'm extremely happy that someone has to lose." :)

I miss you. You and everyone. Thanks for the voicemail last night; I'm sorry I didn't return it, but I was boxing up junk and was afraid that if I allowed myself even the slightest break, I'd fall out of The Zone and not be able to move at all... Not even in the sense of "relocate," but just in the sense of "ambulation."
