Date: Aug. 19th, 2020 02:38 am (UTC)OK, the Shasta website says they still exist and are from California. And while the website name is "Shasta Pop," the content of the site calls it soda.
Aha, the company started with the mineral spring in 1889, and branched out into ginger ale in 1931.
