I can't imagine why anyone would produce a postcard of a TV Repair truck, but it was temporally neighborly of someone to do such a thing, just so we could have the time capsule. I've been recently remembering that department stores used to have knife-sharpening services, or maybe self-serve machines, because I have a couple of knives that could use it.

Now it's vacuum cleaner repair places that'll sharpen your knifes. There was one near Packard & Carpenter, I think, with signs, but there's also one on Packard near the Zen temple. Like, very near it. Just south of it, same side of the street.

Whether either is open now, I dunno.

I found some sharpening thing in a drawer that was my mother's and have been half-assédly sharpening knives with it, but it would be suh-weeet to have all of my regular knifes professionally sharpened.

Well, that's handy to know. I know the one at Packard and Carpenter next to the scary white castle. I wonder if they are even open, though.
