16 DVDs

7 movies; 9 TV [4 of 'em Six Feet Under]

of the movies, 5 narrative features; 1 documentary; 1 comedy concert

I'm sure I won't keep up this pace indefinitely, but so far so fantab.

comedy: Eddie Izzard, Dress to Kill
docu: Animation Legend Winsor McCay (1921)

I guess the latter isn't properly a documentary---more of a compilation. But his short stuff has a documentary feel, in that what he was often animating was his own drawing process.

I keep forgetting to queue up that Eddie Izzard show. Worth a look? I've been meaning to see that for a long time...

The latter sounds like something I'd like too. Love animation legends!

I got the Winsor McCay when my graphic novel pusher was in town. She'd introduced me to him in comic strip form long ago, but I hadn't known he'd been a pioneer of animation.
