wow, sure. That's the WSM tower! One of the original clear-channel AM stations. It still exists - it's red and white now, been repainted - and right beside the interstate on the way to the south side of town.

Oh, and thanks for the info. I'm sort of amazed it's still there. But if it ain't broke, ....

I used to love seeing where I could get AM radio from, at night, in Kansas and then in Maryland, on my little round Panasonic radio.

WSM still broadcasts country music 24/7 at 50,000 watts. Since 1925 - there were protests the last time they thought about changing the format.
