Hey, I thought of something about the mechanics of the Ground Hog Day thing the other day. Something we didn't take into account in our discussion. I think there's supposed to be a cause-and-effect thing with the groundhog's going back in to hibernate--- like it actually leads to the delay of Spring. Like Spring can't come or doesn't come until the groundhog comes back out. And the shadow-seeing groundhog is spooked, remember?

This would be the scientific explanation, see.
