Just got an e-mail from George Bush's cousin. (!)

He used to date Holly; seems he's "trying to get back in touch with her and resolve and amend an old problem." Interesting, huh? I don't remember there being an outstanding problem in the story. Makes me think maybe he's an alcoholic going into recovery or something.

Definitely interesting. Hey, I tried to make amends w/the Takoma Park lesbian once. She didn't go for it, unlike the Baltimore straight chick who did. I'd just reached a point in my head where I could own up to being an asshole and apologize sincerely. Perhaps that's where this fella's at.

Maybe! I'm dying to find out. The presidential connection adds to the story. (When flown out for a weekend with the guy, H. stayed in the guest room used by George [Sr] and Barbara; she likes to tell of taking the bedding off to look for menstrual stains of Barbara's, for lack of other snooping idea.) (There were none.)
