I'm also fond of those spiky sign things. I recall that there was a place in Kalamazoo or Portage in the 1960's that had one of those. I recall that not only did it light up at night, but that for a time, parts of it rotated. I think it might have been the Satellite Lounge, but I might be conflating that with a sign briefly shown in the movie "Moonwalk One," which I can't view right now because I'm at the Pittsflield branch to find another code I neglected to write down, and youtube doesn't work here.
