Im enjoying these. I spent a fair amount of time in Hot Springs for work, several cumulative weeks, quite a few years ago now ... and I really liked the place. Never went in the Evans Plunge, though!

You do get around, don't you?

I have a fondness for the Black Hills in general. My father grew up on Pine Ridge Reservation, so that was sort of his part of the country. We made many a trip diagonally across Nebraska (from NE Kansas) in the hot summer sun to get there, where the pines, dotted with birches, made wonderful shade and a forest carpet of needles.
