someone far away is dead
I just heard that one of the dykes we knew in Kansas---a good, spirited woman---died in a car crash.
It's not as if I'd been keeping in touch with her much. She'd gotten a partner since we'd left, and I'd heard that, but I hadn't spoken to her since then. So it's that odd way it makes one sad to have the knowledge of someone's dying, vs. the loss of that person in one's own daily, or even monthly or yearly, life.
R.I.P., Sistah.

And the pillows are sensy pillows...and the wine flows freely from the perfectly formed arms of Renaissance-style male statues of the most perfect proportions because they are made by Michelangelo himself...

I'd even take partly cloudy, if warm. And no lifeguards---yeah!
Saw a cartoon the other day of two people on a cloud smoking, one saying how it's okay to smoke in heaven cuz you're already dead.
