Date: Jul. 26th, 2017 01:15 pm (UTC)He's got a magic realism thing, and a sparseness to his style that I like. And a touch of the pointillist in him. A lot of his images have books in them, but those aren't as appealing to me, somehow.
I think the out-there fantastic reality of his is balanced by the simplicity and cleanness and quiet of his depictions. Sometimes. Or there's a way that quiet part makes them appeal to me more.
