Mmm, the good old days.

It was the good ol' early days of Amtrak, yeah. But then I can't help but notice the image's harkening back to other supposed good old days, when a bunch of white people are being waited on on a train by a person of color.

I noticed that as well, but I was more focused on what was being served.

Looks like the brown-suit-wide-tie guy is sticking to salad and a dinner roll, whereas his neighbor has a steak. Unless he already ate his.

Or maybe he got a different dish that hadn't arrived yet. I would have made sure it had before snapping the photo.
