I found a disposable camera inside the back of the piano.

It says it should be developed by some date in 2005.  Did you know you can still get film-film developed at some drug stores?  You can.  I don't know why I say film-film.  One film is probably enough, the same.  Cuz the phone doesn't have film.

The camera had 7 shots left.  I took a few today and will knock off the others, and then see what if anything comes out.  I do wonder what the heck else might be on there.

Eww! I am not such a slob as to have rats in my piano, I am fairly confident. :)

I was assuming that the rats, like the camera, belonged to the piano's previous owner.

... the previous owner was my mamma. And I think her folks bought the piano new for her in the 1930s. Anyhow there'd more likely be rats in my piano than in hers.

So much for my image of you having just gotten a used piano for free off of Craig's list, and finding the camera in it as the movers set it up, and the camera having antique-shop-style mysteries in the photos.

I accidentally took the penultimate picture this morning when I dropped the camera as I got out of my car. The flash went off. It may capture some glimpse of me and/or of my car door or roof. Or the sky. Or not turn out at all.

Perhaps this experience will get me started on making old-school-film art, in the "damaged" film subschool thereof.
