fflo... I'm not despairing, or in a panic, or like that. Got a lot to do this week, but so fuckin' what. I'm handlin' it, as that woman in Desert Hearts says, in that great salty-toned comeback to the no-goodnik's "Long time no see." I do find myself wanting to take a leisurely bath, though, and lotion up m' tootsies. They got quite a workout at Free Nia Jam. (Nia Jam Must Be Released!)
Nia is innaresting. I hope to do it some more. Question of money, and time.
Chester has come to see me. We just slow danced in the desk chair, then around the room, then back in the chair, to the Duke Ellington instrumental "My Greatest Mistake."
Chester dances semi-divinely. There are now little grey hairs all over me, and the keyboard.
I love my Boogie-Oogie.
I also love slow dancing to old, mellow big band music.
