Anybody up for Sideways? or Ocean's Twelve?
Not that I won't take myself. I find that I am a great movie date for myself. We have exactly the same taste in films, for one thing.

Date: Dec. 11th, 2004 01:10 pm (UTC)Bummer Ocean's 12 sucked. I had a feeling. Hey, did you ever see the original O11? With Frank Sinatra? I saw it as a kid and loved it. Don't know how it would fly today.

Date: Dec. 11th, 2004 02:31 pm (UTC)I rarely go to the movies by myself, but it feels really great when I do. I feel like I'm playing hooky from something, like I'm being devious and really free. I am not sure why, exactly.

A little naughty for it, but not in a masturbatory kind of way. And long ago I found I sometimes can really enjoy the aesthetic experience by myself---esp. afterwards, walking out floating on a kind of cloud of post-movie high, enjoying strolling down the street or around the parking garage or across the lot or whatever. But deviously really free sounds good. Park the kid and go for it?
