At the risk of prompting choruses of that "Circle of Life" song, I give you new pix of my great step nephew Sam, just sent by his daddy Jay:



According to my brother, "He [Sam] is quite the ham and a vivacious partygoer."







I'm thinking I must make a point to go visit those folks, and my buddies back east, too.

You only get so many chances.

And, as Rob points out, I have yet to make the acquaintance of what he calls "our fifty one pound fur covered muscle of canine idiocy." (Robbie, you should get yerself an lj account, I sweartogod.)

It just came today! I was jumping on to e- you some thanks.

I stayed kinda late at work, mostly sitting and staring, and talking to lingerers.

Don't know the story of the red head spot.

You may only be able to be "back east" if you head south when I'm heading east. I'm feeling a little daunted at the travel, for some reason, and a New England jog, with the return course through NY/PA and/or Canada, is less appealing now that I no longer have 4WD.

Just saw a Scion---the little one. Wonder if that thing has available 4WD.

My hunch is that the red mark has to do with all the junk that was hooked up to the kid during his newborn quite-the-premie days. But I reckon I'll find out soon enough, as I'm hoping to meet the kid in a few weeks.
